On 3 June 2025, H.E. Mr. Meas Kim Heng, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Vanlalvawna Bawitlung, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the ministry.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the longstanding and multifaceted relationship between Cambodia and India, which is founded on shared historical, cultural, and civilizational ties and discussed the importance of bilateral and regional cooperation for the mutual interests of both countries.
His Excellency the Secretary of State also expressed appreciation to the Government of India for its leading role in the Mekong-Ganga Cooperation, aimed at promoting sustainable development and resilience in the Mekong-Ganga region.
